21 Langford Road
Friday 9 November – Sunday 11 November
June’s Pre-Primary School, 21 Langford Road, Westville
All living beings have an innate clarity and wisdom, which is our Buddha seed, or Buddha nature. It is through ripening our Buddha seed that we can reach our full potential, the state of enlightenment, and accomplish our wish to improve ourself and to be of greatest benefit to others. Enlightenment is the inner light of wisdom that is permanently free from all mistaken appearance and functions to bestow mental peace on each and every living being every day.
Over this special national weekend event, we will discover how we can overcome our faults and limitations and become a source of peace and happiness for all living beings, through identifying with our pure potential, and we will prepare our minds to receive the blessing empowerment of Buddha Manjushri, the Buddha of wisdom.
Buddha Manjushri is the embodiment of the wisdom of all the Buddhas. The empowerment is a guided meditation through which we connect to Buddha Manjushri’s enlightened mind. By receiving these inspiring blessings we can swiftly actualise our own potential for wisdom, and gain the confidence we need to progress successfully along the spiritual path.
Throughout the weekend, guided by Gen Kelsang Pagpa, the National Spiritual Director in South Africa for the New Kadampa Tradition, we will explore how to integrate wisdom into our life and bring about the changes we wish for.
